Jennifer Pendray BSc, RMT
Jennifer graduated top of her class from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WWCMT) in 1996 and has thrived in the RMT space ever since. Just 12 years into her RMT career, she began her role as Teacher and Supervisor at WWCMT, guiding students in the areas of Sports Massage, Neuro Assessment, Spinal Orthopedics, and Outreach Programs.
From private practice to large multidisciplinary clinics, Jennifer has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Her clients range from pregnant to palliative, with an ongoing focus on athletes, which lead to her recurring appointment as Head Massage Therapist for Canada’s National Diving Team.
Jennifer’s education and expertise has continued to evolve over her 25+ years of client care, including modalities in Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy and Osteopathic techniques.
After developing and executing a treatment program during her father’s progressive battle with ALS, Jennifer saw firsthand the immediate relief that Massage Therapy delivered to those navigating this debilitating disease. As a member of the ALS Society of BC, Victoria Chapter Board, Jennifer continues to provide treatment for ALS clients, as well as their caregiving family members.
Jennifer enjoys being integrated into the community, and her home-based clinic in North Saanich provides clients an oasis of calm and respite. Her approach to massage therapy is that of facilitator between client and health, steering individuals to a path of optimal wellness through customized treatments.
When not actively treating clients, Jennifer enjoys staying mentally and physically fit. Her passion for nature and the outdoors connects her with friends and family through a variety of activities, from hiking and running, to golf and roller skating. She also finds time to nurture her creativity through woodworking, gardening, and photography.
